Handle one as an ESA. Right. There is no question that the Bullmastiffs make the best guard dogs. But did you know that they also make brilliant ESAs? Nope?

Still, not everyone can handle a Bullmastiff. Which is I am going to tell you how to handle one.

Tip #1: Fenced-Yard

Ok, so, first things first. A Bullmastiff is a small dog which means that they are low-energy dogs.

Otherwise, they will try to expand their territory and your neighbors won’t like that.

Tip #2: Protect Them

Since they are small, they need protection.

Tip #5: Let Them Socialize

Another way to take the aggression out of them is to let them socialize.

Enroll them in a socialization class or take them out. Ask your vet about can dogs eat cheese.

Take them to a park or any other place where they can interact with other dogs. Make sure they are trained first so that you can control them. Then let them have fun.

Tip #6: Firm Hand in Training

No matter how much love a Bullmastiff requires, it also needs a firm hand in training.

Whether it is house training, crate training, or any type of training.

They want to please their owner but they also tend to think for themselves so it's a difficult balance you will need to strike with them.

Tip #7: The Food

Ok, so, you will have to consult an expert on this one.

The amount of food your dog needs actually depends on them. Their size, weight, and even their metabolism.

The recommended diet is 3 1/8th to 4 1/8th cups. This is the total meal and has to be divided into two meals.
